The M.B.M.S.A. was established by the Caledonia Varsity Football Staff, in the summer of 1996, in memory of Mike Burrill who unexpectedly passed away June 11, 1996. He was the father of Tom Burrill, who is the Varsity Head Football Coach. Mike loved the game of football and was an avid supporter, he truly enjoyed being a part of the program at Caledonia.

In memory of Mike, an award will be presented to a Senior football player who best exemplifies what he stood for. In addition, monetary scholarship will also be given. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation, feel free to contact: Joun Bouman, Keith Tidy, or Herma Soper.
