2/8 CHS DISTRICT CHAMPS! CHS 39 - PORTAGE CENTRAL 30

Last night the Scots became DISTRICT CHAMPS defeating #9 state ranked Portage Central 39-30. It was a great team effort by all of our guys! The Scots will move on to regional's next Wed at East Kentwood. Winning for the Scots were Travis Pitsch, Kyle Schutt, Joel Wenk, Noah Williams, John Leark, Spencer Plattner, Ethan Young, and Garrett Hubbell.

2/1 CHS 23 -- TK 35

Last night the Scots lost a tough OK Gold conference dual to Middleville 35-23. On behalf of Cal Wrestling, I just want to thank all the students and staff for coming out and supporting our team. Please mark your calendars for next week Wednesday as the Scots host team districts and wrestle the #9 ranked team in the state Portage Central.

1/25 CHS 49 - Wayland 26

Last night the Scots wrestling team improved to 5-0 in the OK Gold defeating Wayland 49-26. This makes the showdown come true next Wednesday as Middleville Thornapple Kellogg comes in to Scot country wrestling for the OK Gold Title. Students, teachers and administrators we need your help to make Cal Wrestling back to back OK Gold conference champs! Please come and support your Scot wrestling team next Wednesday, Feb 1 @ 6pm. 1/14 CHS Placed 2nd

This past weekend the Scots wrestling team took 2nd place at the Alma duals. Undefeated wrestlers on the day were: Spencer Plattner, Brad Orszula, Kyle Schutt, and Blake Gorby.

Please come support your Scots Wednesday at Catholic Central and our home tournament this Saturday. GO SCOTS!

1/11 CHS 60 - FHE 11; CHS 76 - Ottawa Hills

Cal continued its OK Gold winning ways last night defeating FHE 60-11
and Ottawa Hills 76-0. It was the most intense we have wrestled all
year and the guys are working hard and wrestling as a team!

Last night the Scots kicked off the OK Gold season with a bang defeating the
Hastings Saxons 30-23. Thanks to all the students and teachers for a great

12/10 Var Scots went 3-2 at the Greenville Invitational.
Going undefeated for the Scots was John Leark 5-0 and Spencer Plattner.
Going 4-1 were Joel Wenk, and Joey Montney.

12/10 JV Cal Lakewood Tournament
The JV guys had a great showing at Lakewood having 5 champs.
Jerry Pell, Jon Hubbell, Austin Simmons, Jordan Sutherland and Sanel Strajec.
